Processing model
Section titled “Processing model”SDK image operations run locally on the device:
- document detection
- crop and perspective transform
- filter processing
- OCR inference
By default, these steps do not require uploading images to external services.
Integration responsibilities
Section titled “Integration responsibilities”As the app integrator, you control:
- where processed files are stored
- how OCR results are persisted/transmitted
- retention and deletion lifecycle
- user consent and privacy disclosures
Recommended controls
Section titled “Recommended controls”- Store output in app-private storage unless explicit sharing is requested.
- Remove temporary files after successful upload or export.
- Avoid logging raw OCR payloads in production telemetry.
- Gate scan and OCR features behind explicit user intent.
